Welcome to the Florida Auto Theft Intelligence Unit's (FATIU) webpage!  Our mission is to help prevent auto theft and auto crimes that are attached with auto theft.  Those crimes include identity theft, title and odometer fraud and insurance fraud.  We are a not for profit organization that offers 3 training sessions for law enforcement, Insurance Investigators, NICB Agents, and other government entities.  Our members include some of the most educated and intelligent Investigators from across the State of Florida.

We apologize for the lack of communication over the past couple of months!  Our President, Herb Price, has resigned and the rest of the board was tied up with a joint conference of the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators.  Now the hurricanes have disrupted any training that we were scheduling for October.  Our next training will be held in January and more information will be sent out early November.
